We first looked at existing magazines and discusssed the way they are layed out. Such example like NME, Muse magazine and the New yorker. we then design a magazine front cover and a contents page. The theme of the magazine had to be school based. I chose to cover a subject psychology and chose the title LC Psych Magazine. Also we had to include a photo of a person who would represent our magazine.

The title and the contents page had to be annotated with what the fonts are, colour and describing how the person on your front cover is going to pose. The magazine also has to contain 4 to 5 different features I chose a exclusive interview with the psychology staff, News, history behind psychology, a monthly survey - what makes people happy and current studies. The colour scheme I chose was Blue with white as a background this give the magazine a happy mood matching the magazines theme of the month happy.

In the second lesson we went off to photograph our 'modelers' we took 6 different picture for our front cover plus a few group photos for the content of our magazine. In the same lesson we used photoshop to cut the picture so It is only the person. to make it easier to photoshop we photographed in front of a white background.
