Micheal Gondry
He a french director who was born in may 1963 , he is known to have directed music videos for Paul McCartney and also for Kanye West he has also done a music video for foo fighters. His film work includes Be Kind Rewind and Human nature. He would be more well know for being associated with Kanye West for younger audiences, whereas older audiences would know him for being associated with Paul McCartney. His style of directing is to use bold colours to make the video's he does stand out more. This is an example of a music video he directed.

Spike Jonz who was originally called Adam Spiegel was born on October 22, 1969 in Rocksville in America. He is best known for Jackass and Where the wild things are. He has won a variety of award including an Oscar. He has direct a variety of adverts, shows, music videos and Films. Teenage audiences would best know him for being a producer for Jackass. Other artists and bands he has worked for include Fatboy Slim and Tenacious D. 

Shynola
A name for a group of 4 male directors these are Gideon Baws, Chris Harding, Richard Kenworthy and Jason Groves. They have worked with bands such as Coldplay and Blur. There 'trademark' is using animation sequence for project they have created, an example of this is the opening sequence for The IT Crowd. The styles of the animation also changes depending on the project or genre they are working on such as darker colours for heavy rock music videos, compared with brighter colours used for the less intense music genres. The audience they appeal to is massive due to how many projects they have been involved in.

A group of two males who are producers and directors they are called Garth Jenning and Nick Goldsmith. They have been involved in bands such as Vampire weekend and Blur. One feature of there work is the use of hand puppets this is the only feature which is unrealistic and is almost a trademark of there work so you can tell they were involve in that video. Garth Jennings also directed The Hitchhickers Guide To The Galaxy and The Son Of Rambow.

He was born in Texas in 1969 he is known for films such as The Royal Tennebaums and Fantastic Mr Fox. He is has been known to get involved in every aspect of the projects he is involve in and every detail he puts in a film he has put the for a reason. An example of this is The Royal Tennebaums the way that the scenes are shot are done so they are symetrical to the way that he would want them. When he went to university he met Owen wilson who is featured in a few of the films that he directed, Owen Wilson starred in one of his most recent films Fantastic Mr Fox.
